Andhra Capital named after Amaravathi

Andhra Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu announced his state capital name as Amaravathi. His anouncement invited applause from all sections of the society. Amaravathi is a existing small town on the banks of Krishna River, which has rich historical and cultural heritage.

Epicenter of capital Thullur is a nearby village of Amaravathi.   It is said that one of the historical capital of Andhra kingdoms is Dhanyakataka or Dhanyakheta or Dharanikota, which is very close to Amaravathi.

Once abode of Buddhist preachings, wish Amaravathi shall give all the positive energies to develop the state. Hope Andhra State will flourish Amaravathi as its capital.  CHandrababu has taken a sensible decision
