How the Narendra Modi government cheated the nation on day one!

Modi rule Begins with lie

index

After all the tall talk about credibility and clean governance, the Narendra Modi government shamelessly cheated the nation on its first day in office. And of all the people, the country’s Law Minister is caught lying on live TV!
The NDA government led by Narendra Modi met for the first time on Tuesday. After the meeting, the Union Law Minister Ravishankar Prasad briefed the media about the Cabinet Meeting.
When a media person asked Ravishankar Prasad if the issue of Polavaram submergence villages was discussed, the minister categorically stated “not in today’s meeting”.
Watch Ravi Shankar Prasad Lying on Camera about Polavaram Ordinance:

But exactly 24 hours later, the people of the nation and particularly Telangana were shocked to learn that yesterday’s cabinet meeting had passed an Ordinance transferring over 200 villages from Telangana state to Andhra state. People came to know about this shameless saga when the Ordinance was sent to President Pranab Mukherjee for his approval today.
It is clear that the country’s Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad was lying on camera yesterday evening!
The fact that the NDA government chose to use an undemocratic Ordinance route in its very first Cabinet Meeting and then lie shamelessly about it to the nation speaks volumes about what kind of rule this country is headed for.
Clearly, the Narendra Modi’s government has a lot of explaining to do for the way the nation was misled!
