Bill to come to Assembly on 25th November
Central Government is moving forward with an intention to clear the Telangana State formation Bill in winter session of Parliament. Next thirty days are very important to both regions.
Bill is said to be in finalization stage, except few important issues, which are to be added in it after consultation with political parties.
Bill may be sent to Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly around 25th of November 2013. Assembly may be called for session by Speaker, as it was not prorogued in the earlier session.
Bill may be put to discussion to get the views from the members and report back to President. Assembly may sit for five to ten days, if no untoward incidents take place.
Central Government wants to finish the bifurcation process in the December 2013 itself. Except law and order in the limits of GHMC, no other subjects will be handed over to the Governor.
If Central Government yields to the pressure of Seemandhra establishment and surrenders land, revenue and other subjects to the Governor’s administration, Telangana is not going to get even 9 districts. Half of the Ranga Reddy District and a quarter of the Medak district are under GHMC limits.
It is learnt from highly placed sources of Delhi that Central Government is said to be working on the best package, centrally located capital, number of Central sponsored institutions, instead of giving in to Seemandhra pressures on Hyderabad. Centre is said to be formed an final view on Andhra’s capital city.
Media reports and their presentation of the happenings in Delhi were mostly half baked and generated by wishful thinking of Seemandhra establishment.
